He started to walk. He saw her posture in a star map. A solar system to a sun, a constellation to a constellation. The image, once seen, would never be erased. He could still see it. The constellation was not like a single star. There were many of them. And he could not stop seeing. There was a line of them, a river of stars. The river was stretching out across the night sky. And there was another star. It wasn't a star. It was a giant. The giant was bigger than the constellation of stars. It was a black hole. The black hole was eating up the star. It was eating up the river of stars. He knew that the black hole was evil. It was the monster that had been under the bed. It was the monster that had been in the closet. It was the monster that had been at the top of the stairs. It was the monster that had been in the toy box. And he knew that it was coming for him. He stopped. He tried to walk. He didn't know where he was. He was in the dark and he was afraid.
